The service
EditFreePDF provides free, browser-based PDF tools. The service is provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind. While the tools are built on well-tested open-source engines, you are responsible for verifying your output and keeping copies of your original files.
Acceptable use
You may use the tools for any lawful purpose. The Unlock PDF tool removes protection only from documents you are authorized to decrypt and requires the current password — do not use the service to attempt access to documents you do not have rights to.
Your content
Your documents are processed on your own device and are not transmitted to us. We claim no rights over anything you create or edit with the tools.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EditFreePDF and its contributors are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including data loss. Keep backups of important documents.
Changes
These terms and the service itself may change over time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
